Its the last bastion for your rights and freedom This is much better than the Supreme Court.

Sadly my wife has been sick with mental illness and required hospitalization dozens of times. The court has always shown compassion.

Nice calm and clean atmosphere. Also has some great staff. 10/10 would speed again.

Very bad experience with the small claims court. When I had to appear in small claims court, instead of the judge addressing cases where both members were not present so the case had to be dismissed, they asked those of us without all parties present to wait in the lobby. We waited for over an hour and a half (which they said would be 15-20 minutes). When the judge called us back in and I eventually had my turn, in one minute he dismissed the case without asking a single question about the claim the plaintiff had made. When I asked if I could ask a question about how this could be avoided in the future (the man who filed the lawsuit has been suing acquaintances and strangers for over 10 years) the judge was visibly annoyed, offered no assistance and did not answer my question fully. I asked him what the appropriate process was to serve someone (the plaintiff dropped the summons off on my doorstep). I assume there are clearly defined guidelines but not only could multiple people working for the court not answer this question, when asked directly, the judge told me there were “multiple ways” someone could be served but did not tell me what these ways are. He then threatened that if a similar lawsuit was filed in the future and I didn’t appear at small claims court, I would “be in a lot of trouble”. Seriously disappointing. Every time I am required to go to the courthouse, I have to miss work without pay. If I were to attempt to file for an anti-harassment order, I would be required to come back to the court on 2 separate additional days causing me to miss work without pay, pay filing fees, and pay the cost of having someone serve the order. What a sad state of affairs. And all funded by tax dollars.

Not sure, give them a call in the morning, most bank's have notery's have them on staff.
Yes I believe they are open for court appearances now
Yes I think you can if you have the info
Yes they are open five days a week till 4pm and the superior clerks office is the right most doorway to the right of the small coffee shop Have a great day
You can file a motion to seek relief from interest of LFOs if you qualify. Also Thurston County Public Defense will be holding a LFO workshop in the next couple months to help citizens with their court debt.
You can fill out most of the forms online but you will have to go in to get finger printed so it's usually easier to just go in, if it's a renewal it can all be done online and that's how they'd like you to do it
You should call the county court directly
What's the matter Todd? Did you miss jury duty?
