This place is a joke my daughter has been trying for over a year to get housing she is homeless on the streets with three little kids the youngest being 8 months old... They don't return calls they say they put her name on a "list" or for her to go to the shelter Pear Blossom which turns her away saying they are full!!! Even CPS has tried contacting them with no response!!! I'm appalled at the service she has received!!! They have all the funding they need to help her get housing yet no response so sad!!!

At FSCSS your voice is heard. Your family is valued, VALID and worthy! The wonderful people that work here exude such passion, you can't help but be inspired, to be in awe! From safe housing to summer camp for children recovering from DV, homelessness, PTSD etc.. the lists go on and on... these are the angels among us. Thank you!

Never answer there calls even if your transferred to the front desk everytime I walk in there I'm greeted by unfriendly looking parents and there looks make me feel unwanted in the building I've stayed there for about a week and some of the parents kids kept getting into my stuff and they would come after me for it.. watch your kids and maybe there wouldnt be a problem barely enough time to stay asleep they dont turn lights off until about 11 o clock and its nauseating and cause me migraines then around 7 or 8 moms and children wake up and go out into the main shelter area and wake everyone up with there noisy children like if you kids awake bring them outside if they're noisy cause the rest of us mothers and pregnant women enjoy getting as much sleep as we can before we dont get the chance to at all...that's overall what I've seen personally...a lot of the staff are friendly for the most part but theres a couple that arent really on the friendly side back to the calling part of my review I've probably called idk maybe everyday this week while there open and no callbacks or answers were made the only reason I put 1 star was for the friendly staff. Oh also 1 more thing the floors are always crumbly I walk from the mat that I'm sleeping on to the kitchen or the bathroom and my socks are disgusting right after I'm sure it's not the staffs fault but it would be nice if a family made a mess on the ground if they could sweep and mop or whatever they have to do to get it clean again...

No, but during cold weather times there is overnight first come first serve shelter at another location.
I don't know about any places in Elma. I think if she contacts the Police Departments they would be able to let her know where she came get help.
Intake is on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am to 12 pm.
No 😭 no motels unfortunately. BUT they have other resources and information. They are so helpful. Finding shelter around here isn't easy, short term or long term it's a process. Trust the process is all I can say
The Family Support Center of South Sound can help families find emergency shelter depending on their needs. Give them a call or stop by!
Personaly i dont know
I think you need to go to Thurston County Family and Juvenile court in Tumwater to inquire about father's rights. Family support center will probably refer you there as well.
