Had a fantastic time sampling all the locally made cheeses, oysters, fruit, jams. There was also live music that was fantastic. Amazing farmers market!

Awesome! They have jams, meat, fruit, and more. All products were top shelf organic. I do love my foods.

One of the best farmers market in the region. You can buy many if the Washington grown produce. They also have great cafes, eateries. Good place to spend weekends where we can buy local and help with local economy.

The folk on the stands are generally the owners. I'd go and talk to them, they may well be.
Jan - March sat only 10 to 3. April - Oct Thursday - Sunday 10 to 3 November and December. Saturday and Sunday 10 to 3
There are vendors there that sell organic and others that sell traditional produce.
Yes! You can get honey and fresh honeycomb there - as well as beekeeping info, of course...
No. The Market is open on Saturday only, until April. In April, they're open 4 days a week. Thursday -Sunday.
During the winter schedule there are far fewer vendors active, especially for food. Many vendors come and go over the years.
Yess. 🤘Alot of home made essentials .
You can go to the office and they offer an incentive, I believe its $1 EBT to $1.50 or $2.00 Farmers Market coins. I believe it's the wooden nickel that they have that all vendors accept as a $1 per coin.
We are planning on being open from 10am to 3pm on Saturday the 21st and 28th. We will be operating with grocery-type vendors only. There will be no crafts with the exception of soap. Visit olympiafarmersmarket.com for more details regarding the changes we have made to help keep our customers, vendors and staff safe.
If you go on the farmers market website you can look up the vendors for baked goods. You can call them and ask. I'm not sure if they do or not. I know that some places have vegan food but not sure about desserts specifically. If I were you, I would just call and ask.
So the application fee is $25. Members pay $120 per year and 7% of their gross sales on days that they sell at the Market
My thought is no because we parked in the last row and I didn't see that type of parking. There is a good amount of parking but it's not enough for the demand. There's overflow parking in a parking lot next door (I don't know if it's legit) but it looked full up as well. Maybe look at the Google maps satellite image, zoomed in, to see if there are other large vehicles parked there? Might be easier to Uber or taxi... I hope you're able to go. I went yesterday and I'm already planning my next visit. It's crowded but it's so cool. 😁 Oh, take cash because many of the vendors are cash only. 🍉🍅🍇🍊🥦
Maybe rules have changed. You can always call customer service and talk with them more about that. I never knew you could use your EBT card in different states. I've always been told that it wouldn't work. Let alone when I have used my EBT card there, they never gave me cash they would always give you the tokens.
The farmers market is a collection of businesses- gift certificates are usually particular to an individual business. If you're really set on that for a gift, what I would do is get a prepaid Visa, and on the outside of the envelope write "For You For The Farmers Market". Best thing I can think of.
An interesting market with plenty of fresh vegetables, fruit and flowers
If you go on their website you can fill out an application. So the application fee is $25. Members pay $120 per year and 7% of their gross sales on days that they sell at the market.
They do accept WIC there. You just have to go to the office booth and present it to them and they can help you out with that.
Parking is free at the Farmers Market and the lot around there is quite large and you could take the free DASH bus to the Capitol although with the usual volume of people for the Market combined with the Womens March participants it might still be hard to find parking there though. but on the weekends all street parking is free, many of the lots downtown are still pay on weekends so check closely for signs
I have not ever seen it at the farmers market. The co-op usually has it, and whole foods has it in many different forms.
There's no difference between venue between summer and winter, it's all in the same spot which is under cover but still outside. You won't get rained on, but if you're worried about it being cold, then it might be a bit chilly.
