Joseph Garza is correct. Some is, some isn't. It usually says if they are organic (i don't think they say if they aren't). In the past, some places use organic farming methods, but hadn't gotten certified because it is a lengthy and expensive process. Each vendor is usually more than happy to answer any questions you may have. I usually do a quick walk through the whole market to check what is available that week and prices, then go back to the places I'm most interested in. Over time, we develop favorites. I especially love Wobbly Cart, because they helped with employment training for low income youth in the past.
