The people here were incredibly kind and sincere. It was such a relief to know that I could go somewhere where both medical care and concern exists for someone in need. Especially for someone who did not have health insurance at the time, this place was a refuge. Though, if you do have health insurance, you still get free treatment. It is all free, and they really mean it! If possible, I would recommend coming a half an hour or more before they open so that you can get a spot on the waiting list.

It's free to see a real md's who is generous enough to donate his time and training to help you, but you have to wait a long time to see him...possibly several hours. Come twenty minutes before they open if you don't want to wait a long time. I had a small problem (tendonitis) that didnt require anything major/serious. I just wanted to find out what was causing me pain. On the other side, if you have money to see a private doctor you should definitely go there because the facilites, standard of care and ability to recommend further treatment and medicine will be much higher. But this is good for everyone else because sometimes you just want to see a guy who has been medically trained for 4 years to find out what wrong with you instead of just trying to figure out yourself.

So glad that there is this option out here in Olympia! They were all really wonderful people who volunteer their time. Also are very knowledgeable about other low-cost resources in the area.
