My cats are stressing out my neighbor because they jump on his cars at night, dirty the cars and activate his camera monitoring. He is irate with me. I am in the process of designing a catio. Might anyone want to share there plans or experience?

My cats (only one now) are always indoor only because it's my responsibility that they don't get stolen or killed. That said, a #Catio is a BRILLIANT idea. Google "Catio" and/or look on YouTube. They can be as small as a window, or as elaborate as a Palace...lol. Your neighbor is being reasonable by even speaking to you about this; MANY won't. Good luck...you're on the right track! Feel free to PM me. 🐈

Wait how many inside and outside cats do you have?

He can put a realistic toy snake on the hood of his car(s) and it will keep the cats off. I do this with my car, no more dirty cat paws all over my car. I'd suggest purchasing them yourself and making a gift of them, so he has something to keep them off while you're building the catio.

What is a catio? Perhaps it is like a cat run? We don't have one for our cats but we keep our cats inside. My husband has often thought of creating a cat run so they could be outside without actually running around but we've never gotten around to doing it.
