Yes there is a fee for the observatory. I went to the restaurant instead and ate, but I did see a group just order a drink and enjoyed the view that way. There's no fee for the restaurant or the bar.

Yes it is accessible with individuals in wheelchairs. Since Im a local, I utilize the bus transportation system VIA.. not sure how close handicap parking is to the entrance of the Tower... You might be able to call Via trans and have them chauffeur you to and from.

The bar is the only part that is closed on holidays. It's definitely worth exploring. A camera is a must. Best view in San Antonio. Have fun!

Tinamarie, if your a resident with I.D from Bexar County, San Antonio, TX .Monday and Tuesday before 3pm, you get in for 1/2 price. Reg adult tickets: 14.00 each, military, senior: 12.00. Not sure if children tickets. The restaurant does rotate around slowly, and a bit pricey, but view is beautiful on clear day.

Don't pay for an observation deck visit! Go to the revolving restaurant and the observation deck is free. The food is spectacular and a little pricey but more than reasonable when the ticket price is subtracted. Enjoy!

My wife and I ate there last weekend. Total before tip was $163. Steak and lobster for me and Salmon for her with 2 appetizers but no alcohol. Food was good but very pricey. The same company owns Saltgrass Steakhouses and a few other similar restaurants so you can compare those.
