Great atmosphere. If you folllow large crowd for it will take some time getting back down. Overall an excellent place to take family and learn a little about Texas history too.
Yes....the resraraunt is separate...you can view without eating....there is a fee for going up to viewing area.
I'm not too sure what is on the menu because I didn't eat there, but the restaurant is very high end and fancy. you can watch the film and walk all around the top floors without eating at the restaurant, they have a bar as well.
