Cody Durham
Lots of great animals and their community service is furnomenal, veterinary services, discount shots, food pantry.... It's amazing
D Tx
I called daily/periodically almost 2/3 times every week to see when appointments to spay my cats would open up, every time they had the same excuses about having limited resources, and to call another time. I was understanding, so I waited as they suggested and when I finally did call again, they told me all the appointments for September were suddenly booked. 🙃 And I would’ve tried to online but every time I tried to schedule the website for scheduling would bug out and glitch badly, every time, on every device I tried. Really disappointed that I’ve been patient and calling periodically like they say but suddenly they’re all booked up, they should have a better system for appointments this was a disappointing and frustrating experience.
Thanks! Your review is awaiting moderation.
They sometimes do situational fostering. Please call them.
I would like to foster a pup.
Call the SPCA and tell them your problem I am sure they will not turn you away
Yes
Females are $55 and they are required to have their rabies and fvrcp vaccines - if not its an additional $10-rabies and $12-fvrcp.
They do, but also you can type in google, re home your pet and you can create a profile and the fur baby will be posted for rehoming.
You can bring them directly to the adoption center at 2400 Lonestar Dr. Extremely short on bedding so this would be a great help for the animals
214-214- 1327 will foster care and get a home forever home send me pics and info text are messenger and Facebook.. all this done online due to covid-19 I'm a cat Trapper catch and release I will help out anyone if I can.
They don't sell dogs. You can adopt one for a small fee. They have all breeds of dogs. You would have to go or ask to see what's there
You can try the shelter in Garland downtown. I went to SPCA yesterday and they were closed
It depends on the type
You can consult a local vet
Just take him there. There is a sign that says animal surrenders.
If he or she was chipped they will call you if not go in and look at the recent captured animals it's pretty easy
It may be a date but you cannot leave it.
Do you still have the puppy we can take him in we rescue ALL dogs. We are privately owned.
So sorry to hear about your dog but i don'tkow if they do that u wood have to call them
Yes I do believe that if not 2morrow sure
SPCA is all caring when it comes to animals
SPCA might be able to, help. If not Lone Star Dr., one, try, McKinney.
No, the don't take in stray, lost, found, or abandoned animals Dallas animal services is were they would be taken to
We have one at the JRJ location over the weekend, but doodles are adopted the moment they are put on the floor so you need to check

Their special events vary so it's best to call for more information.
If your pet isn't chipped you can try calling all the shelters in your area.
Vickie, I believe they have two locations near by. I think if you bring in strays to either building they will be more than happy to take them in!
Leave food google animal cruelty spca will not do anything my opinion
Hi we do Only if we have them at our shelter, which is not very often. Your best bet is to go to PetSmart where they usually have both.
Just go up there and talk to one of the employees. And they will help you out and ask you some questions.
Contact your city's animal shelter
Call 311.
Yes, you can.
I am not sure, I reside in Dallas County. They are very helpful there, give them a call.
According to their web site, SPCA.org, the Jan Rees-Jones animal care center, only says to call Monday through Saturday 8am to 5pm. Their number is 214 742 SPCA (7722). There is a FREE pet vaccination clinic tomorrow, Oct 16 from 10a to 1pm at the West Dallas Multipurpose Center at 2828 Fish Trap Rd, Dallas, 75212. I hope this helps.
It is due to covid, but I believe we are opening up the Mary Spencer Clinic in oak cliff this weekend.
Don't allow the dog to play in that area. We have several great Dog Parks around Dallas so maybe you can let your dog play there. I know it sucks but that's better than putting the dog at risk by being around that stuff. Personally, the roommate would be out!
Best thing to do is call them at the main number for the answer.
Go to the Animal Shelter Services & explaine your situation...They taken my pet in the same day because of me relocating & no appointment...They are very generous & caring.
You can visit there website Dallas animal shelter you can see animal you looking for online and it's free adoption
Call your local animal control
The SPCA does not take in strays, Dallas Animal Services (DAS) does. Here is their web page for lost pets: https://www.bedallas90.org/home/lost/ Best of luck finding your pup!
I would like to adopt a puppy or young male cavapoo, cavachon, or a mini labradoodle. I have had schnauzers before but I would like one of these dogs now. We are seniors and live in Granbury, Tx.. We love animals and each of our 3 daughter have dogs. (labs and border collie.) We are active and independent. Thank you for your help.
The wellness exam is $35. If you get any additional services or purchase products it would be more
No. 75$
You will need to call the facility she gave the dogs up too. They can help you figure out where they are.
You would have to call and check with them to make sure they have space to take in animals.
At the moment the lonestar location is closed but the Village Fair SPCA by ledbetter and 35 is still open for spay and neuter. You just have to call to set up an appointment.
If their available.
At the moment the lonestar location is closed but the Village Fair SPCA by ledbetter and 35 is still open for spay and neuter. You just have to call to set up an appointment.
Hello .. most of the vaccines are free, and they have a kind treatment for pets and people too .. if I recommend it
Yup as pointed out above it's all online
Five dollars
Under 15y you need a parent or guardian. Under 12y cant do animal handling. And normally there is a fee unless you're in one of the qualifying zip codes in which the fee is waived. But you do need to contact them to schedule orientation and all that good stuff. https://www.spca.org/youthvolunteer
Yes they have one there
Call your local SPCA and ask them
Yes the SPCA is the place to take them. We got a rescue dog from them and they had a cat area too.
They have many cute dogs for adoption. You can always check their website https://spcafindapet.com/ to see which dogs exactly they have available.
No you would have to go to Vet. At a petco or something
Speaking English or call the SPCA and talk to someone who speaks Spanish
Call your local SPCA and see if they are willing to take the cat.
Why don't you call them? They would know better than we reviewers would.
I don't know. I donate online at aspca.com
I dont think they have training classes
Very good job they starred my dog and he is perfectly and very kind girls
If the kennel picked up your dog you would have to go to Dallas Animal Services to check if they have it. It remains for the westmoreland very serquitas of the SPCA.
The Village Fair SPCA by ledbetter and 35 do dentals. I believe they need to do a consult first to see how bad the teeth are first and they go from there.
I'm not sure, but you can call them and I'm positive they can answer that question for you.
I hope you speak Spanish. I understand that there is a program that vaccinates and sterilizes for free. If you live in Dallas. No but you can call the SPCA number. And they provide you with all the information.
The SPCA doesnt take in lost animals. Youd have better luck checking Dallas Animal Services or the Lost and Found which is right down the street from them.
They have a variety of dogs all the time you would just have to go walk through to see what's available currently.
Yes, they offer weekend drop off and yes the cost.
You can go to the website and fill out an application for a surrender. You can also call them. They might not take him/her in since there might not be enough space. Hope this helped! Sorry you have to surrender :(
If the SPCA has some yes they will be up for adoption. Traders Village has several sites set-up that have guinea pigs.
I've never seen any, but that doesn't mean that there's not a possibility of them having one. Honestly I'd try Traders Village. They are only open on Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 - 6:30 but they have guinea pigs rats rabbits and such.
Search Google for dog kennels
Honestly I don't know how much each individual shot is through the SPCA, but I do know that they have the prices listed on their website, or you could just give them a call and see what they have to say.
List it on Facebook, OfferUp. and LetGo, but only if it's free. Where are you located my oldest granddaughter was looking to get one
you can actually do it online. Just go to their website, and there's on option of "Becoming a volunteer".
I belive you can surrender any pet. Cats dogs mice and guinea pigs
Yes they do.
Most of their pets are rescue animals so finding a pure breed would be near impossible. I adopted a cat for $60 but I'm not sure if dogs are different
We have dogs of all shapes and sizes that need homes! Come by with an open mind and heart and you can find the perfect pup for you!
Sometimes
You'll need to call the office and check space availability for adoptions
You'd have to look up the SPC Myron K. Martin Clinic to get their hours (8:30am-5pm) otherwise you'll get the adoption centers hours (12-7pm)
SPCA does trim nails but for $20 while Petsmart does it for $10 I believe. Every petsmart has trained personnel you just need to find out which one is closest to you and make an appointment.
You must file missing animals in person. If they are chipped, they can locate them. If not You must come look yourself. Good luck, losing a family pet can be very sad.
To work work there you need to be 18y to apply. If you just want to volunteer - 15y and under you'll need a parent/guardian w you and 12y and under cant do animal handling.
They have a place where you can surrender her. At the SPCA off of 30west and Westmoreland.
You can give her up at the SPCA or any local animal shelter.
Yes si
Base on your zip code it could potentially be free https://www.spca.org/freefix If not its based on weight... 3-30 lbs is $65 31-69 lbs is $75 70+ lbs is $85 And if your dog is not current on rabies or DHPP they charge an extra $22
Spring is the best time because there will be a lot of baby cats and dogs and I have never seen the price over 100.00 dollars
Feline neuters are $50, however if they're not current on their rabies or fvrcp vaccine it'll be an additional $22.
Yup you sure can! There is a volunteer fee that you'd need to pay, unless you're in one of their zip codes where it gets waived https://www.spca.org/youthvolunteer but at 16y that's when you can volunteer by yourself and you'd just need to contact the SPCA so they can get you started with orientation and teach you the safety rules and all that good stuff.
Yes
Pet store will take them
I don't think the SPCA takes in strays or ferals. The most they can do is spay/neuter them, but the trapper would have to take them back to the location they got them from.
Where is your roommate
Call first.. They might take her..they go by appt.. Might have to take to animal emergency place.. Sounds like it could be ur dog got into poison
No
No, it is recommended that you spay a female dog whether she has puppies first or not. It'll also save those poor puppies from possibly ending up in a shelter like this or being euthanized because of shelter over-population.
The Village Fair SPCA by ledbetter and 35 does dentals but it is appointment based where they do a consult first to see what they're working with.
How old is the puppy? It depend if the puppy scared because what it been through from its past owner. Or its territory.
Try facebook they have groups for animals that need to be adopted. Hopefully this helps
I actually just brought a 4 year old dog from here recently and just started working here as well, and the actual price range depends on the age of the dog you are wanting to get, with that said... * Puppies 0-6 months: $125 * Adult dogs 6 months or older: $60 And then there is additional fees of anything being sent home with the dog if any, like for example: the food they have them on while they are in the shelter, and their favorite toys they have with them while being in the shelter as well, and a nice bed for them to lay on, and food and water bowls, any additional toys, a leash, a nametag, a dog kennel, and anything else you may need or want to get for your pet so you would possibly be looking at spending at least $130 something to about $200 something dollars for the dog and anything you plan to include in buying when you buy the dog here at the SPCA. Hope this helps.
You would have to log into the microchip makers website. Usually the SPCA uses home again so https://www.homeagain.com/ if not just look up the microchip number https://www.petmicrochiplookup.org/ and that should give you the manufacturer and just go from there.
I do. The puppy would b my last child
I'm so sorry. Research Pit Rescues in the Dallas area. I hope it works out.
Animal Control does
No there's s wildlife preserve that does will bird rescue. What kind of bird? I'm sure there's a breed specific rescue that does.
Das will put in that they have 24 hours to come for an injured dog but depending on ur location and how many calls they already have it could take 4 hours to 24 hours from the experience I've had from calling them
Yes! They have lots of adoptable dogs and cats on site you can meet and take home. If you look on their website at the adoptable dogs their info will say which SPCA location they're at as well
Go to www.spca.org/surrender for more information
I would help. Dog or cat? Call them first and lmk what they say.
You can check the website for animals currently available for adoption spca.org>adopt>change options to dallas location and search by her name (:
The clinic opens up at 8am.
U need to make an appt. They are super. And care alot about your animal Good luck Happy Holidays.
Yes! They now have traps they rent out to people. Each trap requires a deposit of $70 that will get refunded once the trap is returned. They lend them out for 2 weeks at a time, however if you need them for longer I'm sure you can always ask for an extension.
You may have to look on the internet for this answer. SPCA may put him down if procedure is too expensive, but not sure.
Report to the SPCA
Yes, the SPCA take walk-in between 9am until 11am, Monday thru Friday.
You can when they have them. You can also take home the same day. I would check their website to see if they have any at the moment
You can check the website to see what's available at www.spca.org. there is a small adoption fee
Yes they do, you need to call and set an appointment to return the kitten, but they are closed tomorrow.
I believe they don't charge for intake but you do have to call them and set up an appointment to drop them off.
35 or less
Call and call and call again . the more calls the faster they'll move
I think so. Its best to call them.
I don't know of any specific dates. However, one great way to find out about the spay/neuter dates and much more, would be to go to their website which is SPCA. ORG. I am aware of a big event coming soon, "Clear the Shelter" on Saturday, August 18th. I just pulled up the SPCA event calendar and it shows there are low cost spay/neuter clinics at 8:00am on Saturday, August 11th and August 25th. Looking at the calendar it appears the low cost spay/neuter clinics are scheduled every two weeks.
Please call the SPCA directly. These questions are sent to google guides, not the SPCA.
You sure can, when they have them. The specific type of mammal, ie., Rabbits, guinea pigs, hampsters changes all the time. Some animals tend to change with the seaon, or holiday. For instance may see baby chicks after Easter.
If they have that particular breed, there's 99% chance they will be mixed, and if its 6 months or younger it will be $100, if its 7 months or older its $50, and the pet will already be spayed or neneyter, microchiped, and upto date with their appropriate vaccines.
The SPCA will treat the health problems. And they (SPCA) doesn't put animals down so he will find a forever home
They will take the kittens if they aren't feral, meaning they will let people handle them. I don't know about help catching them, you would need to call the Center.
Reach out to the SPCA of Texas as they have a clinic with reduced costs. They will hopefully be able to help. I wish you nothing but the best.
I am not sure. Please call and ask. If you got them from a pet store, you can call them too. I used to work at a feed store and occasionally people would bring in pet rats. So you might can try anfeed storr too.
Yes. Call them directly. They probably can't view questions on google.
I don't know about this zip code.
Call the City
I agree, check their website regularly and/or go to the shelter as dogs can get adopted quickly
It would be your local animal services that would be able to go pick up the animal. Unfortunately the SPCA of Texas isn't set upto be able to take in stray, lost or abandoned animals, and the clinics are only for basic wellness, not emergency.
It is a no kill shelter. There are exceptions such as if the animal is too sick and is terminally ill
Are you on Facebook? If you are post on there too. Tag Dallas cat lady
There are websites that will sell you a certificate for your dog to be designated as an emotional support dog without verifying or seeing you or your dog. Apartments know this so they are being stricter in where these certifications come from. How it is suppose to work for the safety of every one is a medical professional like a doctor, psychiatrist or therapist has evaluated you as a patient and determined that you would benefit from having an emotional support pet, thus giving you a recommendation (like an official prescription) that you would take to an organization that will test/train your dog for certification. It's a whole process but you understand that not every angry chihuahua should be allowed to walk around a Wal-Mart because someone moved to a no pet apartment and bought a $75 emotional support dog certification. I'm a pit lover, rotweiller owner who knows how tough it is to find housing with an unloved breed.
Call animal control or spca for neglected animals to see if they can help you.
Sometimes your vet will help with payment arrangements for their services. Other than that breed specific rescue organizations may be able to provide assistance. Most will require the pet be signed over to them. I wish you luck.
On lone star! Gotta be there early though a lot of ppl line up
There are a few doodle rescue groups. Doodle rock only does local adoptions but others may allow remote adoptions. I imagine that the rescues will pull them all. That facility is pretty high kill and usually maxed capacity wise
I don't think so. But feel free to connect with them, they may have alternative resources.
You have to call to see if they the have room for intake. Another option is to contact the breeds rescue. A Google search for the specific breed rescue organizations is an option as well.
You should call the company that you have the microchip service with. They maintain the service and the records.
No they do not. You would need to contact animal at 311 if in Dallas.
I think it is best to call for availability since they can tell you in real time if there is available space
I have a pit bull cocker spaniel & chihuahua mixed with terrier
There are plenty of good rescue organizations for pits and labs. Contact them through a Google search and they can discuss terminating your rights to the dog and how best to move forward.
No they don't, they may have discounts available. You will need to set up an appointment.
Good friends if you have questions about the SPCA my suggestion is don't ask them here call the SPCA and talk to the people that know what they're doing and then your questions will be answered properly
Call the SPCA of Texas & ask.
They WILL put an animal down but, it HAS 2 be because the animal is considered unadoptable, due to behavior issues (i.e. aggressiveness), or SEVERE illness. They try HARD with EVERY animal. Its NOT something they want 2 do with ANY animal.
SPCA of Texas does offer this service for $75. We also offer cremation services. You can be present for end of life care. The city of Dallas Animal Services offers this service for free but you cannot be present.
Call Animal Services on Westmoreland and I-35 have a great area for cats and are adopted quickly call 311 the city of Dallas and ask for Animal Services
Yes, appointments required for surgery. Cat neuter appointments are available daily.
Maybe yes every race
We do no take drop offs for the wellness clinic. We do take walkins when we can. They are taken in a first come first serve order. It is recommended that you arrive at 8:30am to increase your chances of being seen. There can be a long wait. I highly recommend making an appointment. We also offer a low cost clinic on Sundays 8am to Noon. It is a first come first serve vaccination clinic. We offer vaccines and heartworm testing without charging an office visit. We do NOT see sick pets on Sundays.
Once they reach 3 pounds they are safe to spay.
Yes, the surrender is further towards the east of the main entry. Another option is seeking assistance with a rescue. Breed specific rescues are a great alternative.
Yes as Theresa said call and ger surrender appointment.
FREE for South Dallas residents in 23 different zip codes. All other residents: DOGS Neuter/male 3-30lbs is $55 31-69lbs is $65 70+lbs is $75 Spay/female 3-30lbs is $60 31-69lbs is $70 70+lbs is $80 CATS Female $55 Male $50

Clients do not need to schedule appointments for our vaccine clinics, as the clinics operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
Dogs available for adoption are on the SPCA of Dallas website.
They currently have at the least 150 dogs, they are all 20 dollars each.
Call Lee SPCA any location and they will give you all the information you need if you are going to try to adopt my suggestion is there are a lot of older dogs that need to be adopted everybody wants a puppy and everybody forgets about the senior dogs I have adopted older dogs and they are wonderful
I'm not adopting a cat from there, I already have a cat, I'm just getting him neutered.
Taken in a trap to SPCA they will be spayed or neutered for free. Released back they keep other cats out and rodents down.
I don't think so
You need to call the main number and make a surrender appointment.
Is this a bird? If so call Rogers Wildlife.
I have a have breed Labrador and pitbull. He is 1 yr old in human yrs. We rescued him but can't keep him because we have a preemie baby. I'm giving him away.
They are not opened thanksgiving day
You would have to wait for vet to be open to get copy of your dog's vaccines, But if your dog was Adopted from The Spca of Texas you can get the records there.
Ok thank you so much ☺
The clinic is open Monday through Saturday 8:30 am to 5pm. On Sundays Clinic offers low-cost vaccine clinics from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The shelter is open Sunday through Wednesday Noon to 6 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday, noon to 7 p.m. __________________ Google Translate: The clinic is open Monday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. at 5 p.m. On Sundays the Clinic offers low cost vaccine clinics every 8 a.m. at 2 p.m. The refuge is open from Sunday to Wednesday at noon until 6 p.m. and from Thursday to Saturday, from noon to 7 p.m.
I'm not aware of free, but they do offer low cost vaccines
Please seek a veterinarians assistance. It could be a variety of things the dog is trying to tell you about. Now I had many funny answers ready as well, but knowing how dear pets are, I'll leave it alone.
I am sure they can just call the spca
I think they charge you about 250 or 300 ... More or less. ..
There was one the day I adopted my cat.
you can't locate him. the chip only stores your info. if someone turns him in, they will notify you. make sure your info is updated with SPCA.
Yes, we have 3 clinics. Call the main number and they will help you setup an appointment.
Yes there is an on-site Vet clinic
Clear the Shelter waived adoptions fees last week. This is an annual event. Please call or come by to see the kittens available for adoption this week. The SPCA staff is always willing to guide you through the adoption and meeting your new pet process. 😊
