Hi, I have four kids I'd like to get invloved in volunteering. They love animals the youngest is 5 and the oldest is 10. I would be with them, can they volunteer during the summer?

Under 15y you need a parent or guardian. Under 12y cant do animal handling. And normally there is a fee unless you're in one of the qualifying zip codes in which the fee is waived. But you do need to contact them to schedule orientation and all that good stuff. https://www.spca.org/youthvolunteer

I think there's an age requirement but I know there's a fee because I wanted to do this for my 3 teens, youngest 15, and we couldn't afford it. I still don't get paying for volunteering, tbh. Check for sure though. Good luck.
