I had an amazing experience I recommend you to bring towels sunblocks water and some snacks for the kids. Safari tour was a little long because there are other cars front of you and you cannot pass through them. The cell phone I tried taco and it was good. The splash park was the most fun for my son and there are two waterslides. I highly recommend it we will definitely go back again❤️

If you love wildlife this is your spot. I have so many photos I will be able to load them all. They feed the animals near the road so you will get a close look at all the different species. After the safari is done about 1hr driving you get to go into the amusement park were they have rides and other games. Excellent stop if you are in the area.
LYNNETTE RIFFEL
Small park which can be easily completed in 2-3 hours total. The park is separated into two areas. First, the drive through safari was nice with 30 species of large animals. The drive is in the comfort of your own air-conditioned car at your own pace with two lanes offered. Second, the walk through park is nicely landscaped however several of the displays were empty and all animal feeding stations had been removed (May 2022). There is a childrens area in the back of the park which has a splash fountain. Some small rides like a carousel, paddle boats and slides. Most disappointing were the food and eating options all of which were extremely overpriced and poorly serviced. Bring your own drinks and let the kids wear their swim suits. Nice afternoon.

Absolutely AMAZING day! My family and I were pleasantly surprised how awesome this place was. About an hour long awesome safari in your own car, absolutely GORGEOUS animals. You can tell these animals are well taken care of. Then when you're done with the safari, there's just so much to do! Our favorite part was feeding the lorikeets. I had about 5 on me at one time! The staff is all very friendly and informative and the beautiful made it that much better. Thanks for the awesome day!
Thanks! Your review is awaiting moderation.
Yes you can
Thanks for your question, Maria! Online purchases take up to 24 hours to process, but guests are welcome to come in to the front office any time during our hours of operation to purchase their passes in person for use that day. The last guest is admitted through our gates at 4:30pm.
One fee does all. If you only do the drive through you'll miss one of the best parts.
I found it on there website.
Yes they are, and it is best to go the early like just as they open, that's when you stand a better chance of seeing all tha animals out in the open before the sun hits full force.
It is a zoo. There is small water area for young children as well as a couple of other child friendly activities.
Depends on how young the kids and their interest in the animals and how you present interest in animals to them. We took our 4 yr old granddaughter and she was interested in the drive through animals and the walking park. Overall though she enjoyed the rides most.
Thank you for your question! We are open every day of the year, including holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas. Be sure to consult our website, Facebook page, or give us a call to find out about hours, prices, and any other information.
Guests can view our lions on both sides of the car in the 4th section of our drive-through preserve! The best time to see our lions being active is first thing in the morning, as lions naturally sleep up to 20 hours a day. Per USDA regulations, there is a 16-foot fence between our guests and the lion habitat.
Of course ! You will enjoy it . !
There are groupons to get discounted tickets. Also check there website and there is a coupon there
Thank you for your interest in a visit to the park! We have rental vehicles as large as 15-passenger vans, and while we would like our guests to be as safe as possible, we have no issues with small children sitting with their parents outside of child seats since vehicles will only be travelling at 8 mph. Otherwise you are welcome to bring whatever you need to make your visit as comfortable as possible (except no smoking inside of LCS vehicles).
Hello job
Correct
If you plan on visiting Miami Zoo, Seaquarium or Museum of Discovery and Science I suggest you get a Summer Pass, it's only $58 plus tax and you can visit any of the above as many times as you want until September 30
Thank you for your question! Windows and doors must be kept closed during the drive-through safari, but guests can participate in the animal feeding attractions that are offered in our walk-through adventure park. Feel free to check out our website to learn more about our giraffe feeding, petting zoo, and lory aviary attractions!
A baby zebra was born the morning we were there. They do have a program of sorts that they talked about for breeding
Also purchase of entrance fee only done online - no cash transaction at entrance.
Thanks for your visit! Thank you for visiting!
Thank you so much for the positive feedback! You are welcome to leave us a review here on Google or check us out on our other platforms, like TripAdvisor or Facebook.
Hi Jose! All guests should buy their tickets online before their visit. We are implementing daily capacity limits, and there is an option to pay at the gate after 2 pm on days that we sell out online. Our gate price is $25 each with taxes already included. Feel free to check out lioncountrysafari.com for more information or give us a call at 561-793-1084.
As of early July, we are open for drive-through visits only for a reduced price available on our website (lioncountrysafari.com).
I saw strollers for kids but I don't remember seeing rentals for wheelchair, there is handicap parking and the bathrooms seem to be up to par with regulations. Most activities are accessible.
You need to contact Lion country Safari directly. I'm sure they have a phone number online on their website.
Not for the safari. If you want a great night hours different experience not far, I suggest gator night sawgrass Recreation Park. They started to do 1h trip on the airboat to go and spot the alligators at night, when they are more active. Great experience!
Only the Splash Park is open. When I was there that area was extremely crowded and no seating was available because of the number of children and adults.
$ 55 for adults for Summer you can enter at www.lioncountrysafari.com
Yes
The charge is per person: senior citizen, adult and children.
I don't remember exactly, but I do know the safari costs ABOUT 30 dollars and the park part is free (I believe)
We were there last week and it was $37 for adults $28 for kids 3-9. There is a coupon on their website that reduces the cost by $5 per person.
We are open rain or shine, every day of the year! On very rare occasions, such as with tropical storms or hurricanes, we have to close either both sections or just our walk-through park if there is heavy flooding and unsafe conditions. Other than that, any day is a good day for a safari adventure!
It will be very unlikely, just follow all driving instructions and everything will be fine.
Gates open at 930am. Drive thru closes at 430 and walking portion closes at 530

Per the rules on the website: "No pets are allowed inside your vehicle. Free kennels with a refundable $5.00 deposit are available at the main office."
I went 4 months ago, I stayed in the KOA camp for 3 days, there if you can take food and have picnic area, call if you are allowed to celebrate even if you do not stay there since they are close to the park and I think They are from the same management company. But in the park I carried a lunch box with drinks and sandwiches, they did not check my belongings, I do not know if they have made any changes in the last months.
Per website it is open 365 days. Holidays start from 9:30am highly recommended and safe. I was afraid of damaging my car but there is nothing to worry. Some of them walk so close but it is a great experience.
Pets are not allowed in the drive-through or walk-through sections of the park for the safety of our guests, animals and staff. We rent kennels from our Main Office for a refundable deposit of $5 on a first come, first served basis.
Maker, not sure. Adults and kids will have a good time here!
Exactly
Yes, you see such workers busily doing these type of jobs. Check their website under careers or similar.
Yes. Everything is either on your own in the car or ground level and paved. Very helpful staff.
Yes you could, you are free to exit at any point, but there is no difference in ticket price. But the drive thru tour is the main attraction and is a good value. You can take as long and go as slow as you like, others can pull around you. Then you would just follow the signs to the park exit.
It was a soft open on Sat and they told me on the phone that they didn't know if and when they would be open so call the morning of your visit.
Some attractions are closed which can vary from day to day. For us the water park was closed and the boat cruise. The restaurant had very minimal offerings and is pricey for what you get. Much better pre-COVID.
Im not sure about it. I gaf a tent on the top of my car and they made me remove it and put it inside the car, so will have to call then to make sure.
Good afternoon, when one enters there is no problem because there are vehicles that one follows, the notices are also in Spanish. When one enters, you put the zoo page on the Internet and you listen to the explanation in Spanish of the animals you are seeing. It is beautiful to see nature in animals and the recreation that there is for children.
The website states: No pets are allowed inside your vehicle. Free kennels, with a refundable $5.00 deposit, are available at the main office.
Buy the whole summer they come out better as 170 x 3 people 2 adults and a child
All the attractions are open, the water chorrera also the slide is not and Saturdays and Sundays they close at 5 in particular every time that boy we love it and we have a lot of fun, ideal for families
We do offer tent sites at our KOA campground, and more information can be found here: https://www.lioncountrysafari.com/koa/koa-rates/
We recommend 4-6 hours to enjoy all that we have to offer on safari! We recommend between 4 and 6 hours to enjoy everything we offer on the safari.
Closes at 430. The earlier in the day you go, the more active the animals.
Yes, they have vans there for you to rent.
For the safety of our guests, their animals and ours, pets are not allowed inside our drive-through or walk-through sections of the park. We have kennels available near our main office with a refundable deposit required at the time of check in. You can call us at 561-793-1084 with any additional questions.
Due to the pandemic they do not work but, you can touch the manta rays
Great question! In our gift shops, we have ostrich eggs that have been collected from our preserve and emptied and special stands for sale. During the closure of our walk-through adventure park, we do have one outdoor gift shop open daily. We hope to see you on safari!
Thank you for your question! Our lions and primates, including chimpanzees and spider monkeys, are the few species that have a barrier between them and our guests. Other animals in the preserve are able to come close to the vehicle and we remind our guests that all animals have the right of way. The two-lane road allows space for drivers to move away from areas in which they feel uncomfortable, but our animals are accustomed to seeing cars in their habitats each and every day so we hope you feel at ease during your visit!
I would enjoy the drive-thru as far as a pandemic keeps increasing I don't think they're going to open that so enjoy your membership before runs out it's exciting and something different from other zoos
Almost $ 25
We took the safari a few days before New Year's. We paid about $96 for four people.
We are currently open for drive-through only visits (December 2020). For up to date information, we suggest visiting our website at lioncountrysafari.com.
The walking areas are closed right now due to corona. You can still do the drive through but it's probably not the place for a party unless you take a campsite at the campground that's attached.
Thank you for your question! As of November 2020, there is no parking fee while the walk-through adventure park is closed.
25 on the website
Thank you for your question! We have paved paths for easy travel by wheelchair. Rentals have been suspended for now in order to reduce contact, but we will offer wheelchair rentals again when the full park has reopened. Feel free to call us at 561-793-1084 with additional questions!
Yes. With a lower price also because is just the drive.
Adults 25 if Internet purchases are cheaper
Liability is yours if you wish you can rent one of their vehicle's for a reasonable price. But when we went through there was no real issue most of the bigger animals were back away from the roadway...
Thank you for your interest in visiting! Tickets should be purchased online in advance at lioncountrysafari.com.
Thank you for your question! Guests enter at their own risk and the animals have the right of way, so space should be given to animals crossing the road. The 4-mile road through the animal habitats has two lanes of travel, allowing drivers to move away from any area in which they feel uncomfortable. Our lions, chimpanzees, and white-handed gibbons have a barrier between them and the guests to prevent close interaction. Feel free to call us at 561-793-1084 with additional questions!
Thank you for your question! Soft topped vehicles are not allowed in the drive-through safari, and all other vehicles must keep windows, doors, and roofs closed at all times while driving through. If you have any other questions, you can call us at 561-793-1084.
Our walk-through park, including water attractions, is not open at this time. Feel free to check directly on our website for the most accurate and current information!
I advise you to call before ... the perfect time to visit the park is: either early or almost closing time. With these heats the animals seek shade and lose their charm.
Yes, but you will pay more.
You can do it right now through its page and online. Upon arrival they will only ask for your name at the entrance. But your confirmation will reach your email. It is easy, safe and fast to do.
When you go to the eventbrite site to get your ticket, it will let you know if that date is sold out or not. Plus, on any day, you can go after 2pm without advance tickets i.e pay at the gate
25 per person
Our current online price is $19 per person, reduced from $39 per Regular (ages 10-64) prior to our closing and partial reopening. On days that we sell all of our online tickets, additional tickets can be purchased at the gate for $25 each after 2:00 pm.
Prob not. How would they be contained? Were they in an aviator? A large cage? If not, then they are prob free roaming, lol
If you buy it online 19.99 plus taxes. Directly there as 24.99.
Thank you for your question! As of January 2021, we are open every day and tickets are date specific. Guests should purchase their tickets on our website in advance.
Great question! We see all sorts of native species around our property, including racoons, otters and other small mammals, bird species such as ibis, egrets, herons and anhingas, and even reptiles like alligators! There is also a group of brown pelicans in the first section of our drive-through that consist of individuals that have sustained injuries that could not be rehabilitated. Fun facts: we work with Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission to care for these birds and their young often decide to leave on their own once they have mastered the art of flight!
I paid US $ 19.90 + tax
Thank you for your question! Although grilling is not permitted by guests on property, we have grilled food options near our picnic area and guests can also bring their own picnic to enjoy.
Surely, tickets must be purchased online first before entering the park.
Yes just call them. They have like a two week window I believe
All prices are per person age 3 years or older.
Now $ 20
Thank you for your question! We do indeed have lions for guests to see in a recently expanded habitat, and you may find more photos on our social media pages or website!
We are currently accepting staff passes, donation tickets, and free student coupons in addition to our paid admissions. If you have questions about a specific ticket, feel free to call us at 561-793-1084.
The current ticket price is $19 per person when purchased online prior to visiting. This price is subject to taxes and fees, and daily capacity limits mean that guests will want to secure tickets a few days before they plan to visit.

Thank you for your question! An RV of that length would have no problem coming through the 4-mile drive-through safari. Be sure to ask the KOA office for any ticket promotions when you arrive for your stay, and we are happy to help with any questions about the safari park at the main office.
I went with my wife and the child, plus the car and paid at the entrance as 103 dollars
Please give us a call at 561-793-1084 ext. 2000 so we can assist you with your purchase!
Hi Stacey! We do not heat the water in our water attractions, so it can be a bit chilly on our coldest days. They will typically still remain open, so feel free to give us a call to make sure if you are interested in enjoying them during your next visit!
Depends on what you would like to do. The park is broken into sections with different activities.
Perhaps? Not certain about that?
Only 18$ if you stay at their Campgroumd!
My opinion you can, I didn't see no rules regards to what vehicle you can ride through or park of any transportation you decide to drive at lion Safari. Now a bus will be something different You will have to call for permission. Otherwise, you be fine. Hope this helps and enjoy!
$ 38 per adult but if you are looking for online coupon you can save $ 6 per ticket
Yes, the new waterpark area is open and and I believe reentry through the walk through is allowed.

We have several VIP and Premium Experiences, and our Giraffe Painting Experience in particular might be of interest to you. Yes, you can bring whatever you want (within reason lol) in your car.
Convertibles are only allowed if you are cool with getting EATEN!! :-) But seriously, they have vehicles available if your car doesn't have good air conditioning because the windows must be kept rolled up. Bring a smart phone and play the audio tour on your phone (download their app and then the audio), or use a CD (if your car actually has a CD player). One section is under renovation, which that don't tell you about. But it's still worth going. If you're going with small-ish kids, allow plenty of time for the Merry Go Round, mini golf, paddle boating (in a really small area), giraffe feeding ($3 for a handful of lettuce), water park, peeing zoo, and of course, seeing small animal exhibits!
Thank you for your question! We have a drive-through safari park and a walk-through amusement park, totaling over 300 acres and offering a full day of WILD fun!

$35 adults and I think $26 for kids.
Can rent a car there too
You definitely can. You have to buy their lettuce, and it is a little pricey. But for the experience, especially if there are kids involved, it's so worth it. It's the most memorable part of our trips

HOURS Walk-Through Open: 10:00amAnimal Encounters Open: 11:00amCheck the Safari World Entertainment Tab for individual Attraction opening times.Gates Open: 9:30am Admission (per person plus tax): Regular (ages 10-64): $35.00 Seniors (ages 65 and over): $31.50 Children (ages 3-9): $26.00 Toddlers (ages 0-2): FREE Parking: $8 per vehicle
Entrance is paid, and that covers all activities. You spend extra just for food and drinks and, if you want, shopping at the souvenir shop. And, of course, if you want to enjoy the experience of feeding the animals, then you can buy the lettuce and balls to do so.
The $ 60 entry is the most convenient, it gives the possibility of entering 4 attractions, and repeating them, throughout the summer
We do not have a pool here on safari, although we do have a sprinkler playground, two water slides, and more water attractions to come in the near future!
$ 35 but there is a coupon on the website of discount of $ 8 per person. Worth it
Like thenother people said, there is a safari drive through, are me carnival rides (merry-go-round, flying animals, paddle boats, boat ride) dry slides, water slides, kids splash zone, mini golf, petting zoo, bird feed and much more. Bring a big bag for water, food sunscreen, set of dry clothes, swimming suit and some change for the kids to feed tue animals.
It is a zoo, but they have a small area for water for children under 10 to have fun.
The parks does the drive through does not; i wouldn't recomend going when its raining though because even though they dont close the animals try to get out the rain and you wont see them
LCS is both a drive through AND a walk through park. Parking is close enough you can leave things in your car if you go to the water park.
Hi. You should not carry it. But if you have to take it they rent kennel.
You may have better luck calling them directly. The website did not list, but we got a great unpublished rate for our group being boy scouts. Worth a call.
Its mostly car, which is the best part anyways. There's walking but not much. It an awesome place.
We pay $ 28 per person in groupon and we do not pay parking
They have rentals available...less than $20 i believe
You are responsible. It's unlikely though
Thank you for all of the answers from our area residents and visitors! As some have mentioned, we have a policy of windows and doors closed in order to provide a safe environment for our guests and animals. This includes the oft-forgotten sunroof as well! We recommend cleaning any windows prior to your arrival to allow for better photos, and guests wishing to ride through with open windows can book a special Photo Tour experience. Thanks for your question!
rain or shine its been open.
I think over 50 years the lions are free roaming in a enclosure
$ 36 dollars for adults and $ 26 for children over 2 years old, children under two years old do not pay
Yes. Works out to about 10%. You can sometimes do better if there is a coupon available. I'm a senior andwent in December and made out better with the coupon han the discount.

31.50 for seniors 35.00 for 10 years to 64 years. There's a coupon on the internet for 8.00 off per person
They are out with the Zebras would recommend Lion Country Safari over the zoo
Lots of Food trucks with vegetarian options will be available inside too.
After completing drive in the Lion Safari we enter the normal area where you have chance to visit some rides and games for kids. In these places you can enjoy....
From its website: "Admission (per person plus tax): Regular (ages 10-64): $35.00 Seniors (ages 65 and over): $31.50 Children (ages 3-9): $26.00 Toddlers (ages 0-2): FREE Parking: $8 per vehicle" Coupon also available on the website.
I'd agree. About one hour for the drive through portion and then the exhibits, events, lunch and touring the gift shop, it is a little more than half a day.
Adult $ 35, including safari with car and park on foot. Parking is $ 8. The price of a child, I do not know. But is it worth it.
Look in the web you will find up 8 dollar Per person..regular price is 36 dollars per person in one car..it is cheap considering everything they offer..good place for kids
35 $ adults and children 26 $ up to 10 years old 2 freebs
Monkeys, Leon, ostrich, rhino, and other animals, it is worth going and especially sharing with the Family. I recommend it to you. A strong hug rompecostillas
Yes you can, however driving through the park is a great experience for adults and children alike. Bring your camera!
They have van rentals for $10 that you can use.
The drive thru Is very big and never feels crowded. You can drive at your own pace and stop along the way to see all the animals
We were invited. The person of attention, invited ten people. It was a family member. He also told us that online is cheaper.
We were there 12/29 from 10:00 until 2:30. The first two hours were the drive through part. Temp got to 78. 75-85 might be best. All of the animals were active except the lions. They were out but all sound asleep. We saw staff occasionally dropping hay or feed. Hippos and zebras were the most active. The non -driving park part was the most relaxed. Birds there were active but mostly focused on what they thought we would drop and they could eat. Handlers were giving some splendid talks, especially about flamingos.
Seniors 65 and over are $31.50. Regular adult age 10-64 pay $35.00 so it is a 10% discount.
It is open rain or shine....or possible snow storm I would suppose. Since the drive is in your car youre protected from the elements.
Yes. From 9:30 to 4:30. We were just there last Weds. Allow about 4 hrs if you want to do the drive and the walking/lunch part.
$35 per adult. $31 per senior citizen. $26 per child. $8 for parking.
And days like today when its not so hot its great to go the animals roam out more and don't forget to visit the giraffes and feed them I love the giraffe's it's my favorite part of the park
35 per adult but they have coupons on their website and also Groupons options with pretty good deal, including the parking and access to the water park/feeding animals area
You could purchase one ticket online which includes parking. And use the coupon (8$?) on their website to pay for rest at the gate. I think you need a group of 10 to get a group discount. Adult and child prices are different and so your total would depend on composition of your group.
The cost of entry is $ 35.00 per person per person under 3 years spend free
Bring some extra cash to feed the birds and the giraffes. You won't be disappointed
per person, plus children who pay a little less
In fact, icb can not say how tall he is. But it takes about 1-1 1/2 hrs for the passable part and you can easily spend three hours in the part of the park you can walk to.
No, they don't have an elephant anymore, but you can still feed giraffas
35 dollars for adults and 20 for children, you can download from the page of the site 8% discount coupons that help to reduce entry, you can take the coupon in the cel in pdf and they make the discount, it is very good site , recommended!
Facebook Special for their anniversary. $19.97 per person! Limited time!
