Great question! We see all sorts of native species around our property, including racoons, otters and other small mammals, bird species such as ibis, egrets, herons and anhingas, and even reptiles like alligators! There is also a group of brown pelicans in the first section of our drive-through that consist of individuals that have sustained injuries that could not be rehabilitated. Fun facts: we work with Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission to care for these birds and their young often decide to leave on their own once they have mastered the art of flight!
Nothing native. The drive thru is great
I saw a wild kangaroo
Nothing native in there with the non indigenous species. The animals from different hemispheres typically leave reach other alone as they roam from pasture to pasture - which the video guide talks about... You can listen to it on the website anytime
Didn't see any
We were there when park opened and we did not see any of those
No, I didn't see any of those that would be cool
Those are nocturnal animals so even though they most certainly live there in the plains I doubt you would see them during the hours that the park would be open
