Hi - The selection of a bamboo species/variety is affected by many variables. Most importantly is your location (your home city as well as your proximity to the coast). Timber bamboo is not really specific enough to recommend as it applies to about 1/3 of more than 1500 different bamboo species. In other words, it's a general term that describes the bamboos that grow large - more than 50' tall with greater than 4" diameter culms. No, sorry. We're in S.Florida and grow only tropical and subtropical bamboo species. You will need a temperate bamboo species that can survive in your area.
