The parks does the drive through does not; i wouldn't recomend going when its raining though because even though they dont close the animals try to get out the rain and you wont see them
Julie Tapay ,not if it rains only, but if is lightning they close
no
No, it doesn't.
Hello Julie! As many have answered here, lightning in our area will cause closures to our mechanical rides and water attractions because of safety issues. We use a system that detects lightning strikes up to 10 miles away in order to determine whether or not the aforementioned attractions are safe to remain open. If we only have rain and no lightning, the park will remain open. The animals here even become more active in the rain, as the temperature will drop to a more comfortable level. Only a few attractions will close in the rain, including the Fun Slide and Rio Grande Train, due to the hindrance of their operation with wet tracks or slide surfaces.
I went about 2 weeks ago while it poured rain. Not only did they not close the park, we were able to enjoy seeing the animals. Obviously when the rain stopped, it was so much better.
No, they are open till 430 rain or shine
