Convertibles are only allowed if you are cool with getting EATEN!! :-) But seriously, they have vehicles available if your car doesn't have good air conditioning because the windows must be kept rolled up. Bring a smart phone and play the audio tour on your phone (download their app and then the audio), or use a CD (if your car actually has a CD player). One section is under renovation, which that don't tell you about. But it's still worth going. If you're going with small-ish kids, allow plenty of time for the Merry Go Round, mini golf, paddle boating (in a really small area), giraffe feeding ($3 for a handful of lettuce), water park, peeing zoo, and of course, seeing small animal exhibits!

We do not allow soft-topped convertibles to go through our drive-through safari, and any hard-topped convertibles must have the top, windows and doors closed (applies to all vehicles; sunroofs as well). Any guests wishing to rent one of our vehicles may do so for a $10 rental fee (+ tax). All rental vehicles are available on a first come, first served basis, and guests can arrive just prior to opening to guarantee that there is a vehicle for them.

You could drive a convertible there but you will not be allowed to drive it through the Safari. They have vehicles you can rent for $18 to drive through the Safari.
