Thank you for your question! Our lions and primates, including chimpanzees and spider monkeys, are the few species that have a barrier between them and our guests. Other animals in the preserve are able to come close to the vehicle and we remind our guests that all animals have the right of way. The two-lane road allows space for drivers to move away from areas in which they feel uncomfortable, but our animals are accustomed to seeing cars in their habitats each and every day so we hope you feel at ease during your visit!
