Yes absolutely if you're applying for title the lien holder letter needs to be faxed to your lien holder prior to completing your title application. Need a VIN inspection done as well so either bring it down to the dmv or have ANY member of law enforcement do it OR an Idaho car dealer like Knudsten, or Affordable Auto sales, Absolute auto sales

Depends on how old your son is and how you want the title to read. If you want it to be an "And" then absolutely if it is going as an or then no. Just sign the title ahead of time and either one of you can take care of it for the other.

Vehicle licensing in one door and driver's licenses in the other, except the driver's licensing office is closed on Mondays. (Ask me how I know it's closed on Monday!)

The best way is to download the QLess app on your phone and make an appointment with that. Just make sure to choose the right office (vehicle licensing vs. driver licensing.)

When I was there a couple weeks ago they weren't allowing appointments due to the system update. Anyone that walked in saying they made an appointment online still had to just take a number and wait.

My best advice is if it has been over 3 weeks since the check was sent in, cancel the check and try again. I have had the most success using the renewal online instead of mailing in, but I know that is not always preferable. I would also try calling another Kootenai county location to see if you can get through to check the status, but since you stated it hasn't been cashed, it may of been lost in the mail. The location may have a better way to resolve your problem if you can get through. Hope this helps.

You need to make your appointment before 1pm or you probably won't get seen that day. When I was there they were running almost 3 hrs behind.

QLess is the app... I also had problems in the beginning too. Be persistent, and try to schedule your appointment before 2 PM if you can. If you do it after 2 you may have to come back the next morning...They run about 2 1/2 hours late! Be patient... Hopefully this helps you...

Or drive out of town to another one. I have have been fighting with this for months. I have 3 trailers 2 vehicles I need to get in to get inspections and plates and registerd my last 2 appointments were at 4 pm. And they were backlogged said try again if your appointment was after 2pm we can't see you today. Anyway hope you can get it done i haven't yet.

If you are an out of state resident and wishing to register it in idaho you can do so by: 1. Making an appt on the Qless app 2. Bring your current Registration into the DMV along with your ID(Drivers license) 3. Bring $3.75 for your plate 4. Shane you can keep your plates as long as there IDAHO plates just need to renew them before they expires. I just change my Idaho plates from my truck to a small car for only $11 today! and my registration does not expire intill April. hopefully this helps

You can make an appointment using the Qless app if you want on the app, or just sign in for the day. Whichever is more convenient for you. Also you can transfer your plates over from your previous vehicle. Especially if they're still current

No. They should've given you paperwork and explained that you at the dealership. If it weighs less than 2000lbs it won't be titled in Idaho. If it weighs more than 2000lbs than they need to provide a pink 502 form for you and bring that into the DMV.

Not sure what you mean by a restricted permit. Idaho only does 30 days at a time. And you need to provide proof of ownership that you own the vehicle by either the title, or a registration or a bill of sale with the VIN on it along with the previous owners name and and ownership documents.

I intentionally waited as close to December as possible as parks and rec. sticker expires in December no matter what, so hopefully next year you'll be good for close to a year from when you pay and it goes off of the value of your RV which goes down yearly through NADA like a vehicle but quicker .

You have to get new plates every 7 years unfortunately. The reflective coating starts to bubble and peel is the easiest explanation. There is an Idaho code on your renewal notice but I don't know it without looking it up.
