I would like to get personalized plates-do i have to buy plates and then replace them when i get my personalized plates? or can i order them at registration?

Idaho.gov itd vspersnl pdf will give you all of the details.

They give you credit for your current Idaho license plates. The clerk will explain it at the desk or you can call down to Boise if want
