What do I need to bring to transfer a title? Does the vehicle need to be there?

If it is in state, then it is not required. I would bring the paperwork just to be safe.

If it an Idaho title then no the vehicle doesn't need to be there. If is out of state then yes. Title, registration, bill of sale (if applicable), cash, or check or you can pay with credit card with a 3% processing fee. Hopefully I covered everything

If it's an out of state title and vehicle, yes a VIN inspection has to be done.
