I have a reservation at this airport location.My rental cost is covered under free days! I’m flying from Tampa where they refuse to wave the $200 deposit even though I’m a GM in the Pres. circle but I want to use my mc vs visa! Does ATL do the same?

I don't know if they do the same for certain qualifications or people but I did NOT have to pay a deposit. Unless they put a HOLD on my card, I wasn't charged until I brought the car back.. hope this helps

I don't know was travelling with Family members

I was rented in Atl the beginning of Aug and the deposit was required. I used a credit card as pymt. I am a Gold member.

The reason might be is you are not using your own auto insurance

Yes it's just to cover liability reasons when you turn the vehicle in you will get that 200 back

Thanks Brianne! How long ago did you complete your rental? They say this new policy is only a month old. I’ve been renting at hertz for years and in FL I always have issues with the deposit. So this time they say the $200 is firm and it’s a new law. Another location in Daytona said they wave it only for Gold members who use visa credit cards so I’m trying to contact ATL airport location to see what their new policy is! Wish me luck!
