Prepaid for a car through Expedia and arrived for the attendant to say they ran out of cars… then they put me into a more expensive car and said I had to pay for it. Then the line to get the car was was an additional hour wait. When I tried to exit…. I was asked “Where did you get this car?”…The person handing out cars put me in someone else’s car.

Using this service isn’t worth the few dollars saved. We showed up on time with a reservation made a month ago and learned that they’d given the car to Someone else and we would have to wait 2+ hours for a car to return. We had to go back into Atlanta from the airport to get a bus to Savannah and we made it by literally one minute and had to shell out $250. Customer service rep was nice and refunded us right away but don’t bother with this mess of a service.

When I got to retail center the Payless counter was closed...had to go to Avis counter where I waited close to a hour in line...only 4 agents...but once I got served it was fast and easy...car was clean and drove nice...I would definitely rent again...just wish they would hire more help.

Arrived in ATL, Payless desk closed, directed to Avis counter. Waited 2 hours for a car to become available, and I was one of the lucky ones! Others were turned away completely if they made their reservation day before or day of, others were told it would be several hours and they would be called when something was available. The employees were apologetic and courteous as this was beyond their control. The system allows for severe overbooking. One employee did offer this tip...when flying in to ATL or any major hub, make 2 car reservations with 2 different car rental companies (not prepaid), then see who can get you on the road quickest and cancel the other one.

I had exactly the same experience with them in Atlanta. Fully prepaid for a full-size, was downgraded to midsize on arrival as they didn't have stock. Gave me a measly $5 'discount'. When I went to pick up the car, there were many full-size visible. Was told these weren't 'clean' so 'not in the system'. Disappointed.
This is one of the worst rental car places. They check your credit and will charge you more if you don't meet their standards....they won't tell you this when you book...but when you're at the counter. Pay a little more and go with another rental place.

Not only that but also they check your credit score and don't tell you when you book that they are going to do that if you meet thier standards. If you don't meet their standards their will change the price significantly on you at the counter. What your credit score has to do with renting a car I have no idea but they do that. Not a good thing at 6am...I'd book elsewhere
I was using Hertz on line to book my Reservations and since 2020 all Rental Companies has tripled the cost. E.g. 2/20 Hertz, Economy Car was $26 per day without added cost 5/21 that same type car was $141 per day... However 6/21 I used Priceline and got a 7passegenger SUV for $91 and we got to Hartsfield-Jackson international Airport to pick up their Hertz rental car after they close and Alamo rental was still open and they gave us the same vehicle for the same price from Hertz by me telling them we had booked through Priceline so try those and compare Prices. Don't go direct for hotel rental cars etc you'll pay much more go through those type agencies Priceline Travelocity etc... I hope I helped and I've tried rental companies like Fox and there to me aren't the best way to go however by using Priceline I even got better deals with the insurance it was cheaper and it paid up to three drivers so looking to all of that when you use Priceline. Please use your 😷, etc. Excuse typos

I would go to the rental car location, and talk to the representatives there. If You can't make it, you can always call the customer care
They should credit you back your unused days..

Don't rent from this place. They run your credit without telling you. If you don't meet their criteria they will charge you a different rate at the counter leaving you in a pickle if you don't like the new rate. Worst practice I've ever seen by a rental car company. Rent at your own risk.
Yes I believe you can as they don't seem to run your license they just make a copy
