Don't rent from this place. They run your credit without telling you. If you don't meet their criteria they will charge you a different rate at the counter leaving you in a pickle if you don't like the new rate. Worst practice I've ever seen by a rental car company. Rent at your own risk.
Yes, they will put a hold on your card. Usually $200-$350 or more, better of you use a credit card. Not the best with customer service, a warning beforehand.
