The adoption fee is always $75 unless there is an adoption special. You can go on their Facebook to find out when they have specials.
They often have adoption fee waived events though
The fee covers spay/neuter, vaccinations and a implanted microchip. You would need to register the chip in your name and they will tell you how to do that. It costs about $20. They will also engrave for free a tag with your contact information.
The size doesn't matter. Animals are $70 to adopt, but free if the animal is over 6y
