I saw an addtl $109+ due when I was signing for the car. The avis rep said it was just an auth incase I didn't return car w/full tank, & would be refunded if had full tank. LIED! anyone else? maybe class action lawsuit is needed????

I returned my vehicle on full and got a eighty two dollar charge in gas. I called my credit card company immediately. I took a picture of my gas hand and gas receipt. I advise no one to rent from avis.

My tank was full! I saw the $109 fuel charge when accepting the car. Asked what it was & rep said it was an authorization in case I didn’t bring it back full. If I brought it back full it would be refunded. I brought it back full. They charged the $109 +tax which came to a little over $132. I called to ask what the $132 was for & was told my original agreement shows I prepaid for my gasoline & didn’t need to bring it back full. The rep 100% lied to my face! This is unethical! How many others???

We returned our car with a mostly full tank but I ask the attendant if they were going to top it off and he nodded so I expected a gasoline charge on our bill.I don't know about the $109. as we paid with Am Ex credit card.
