Was told they do not accept debit Mastercard or debit vis. And that only Americans can use that. Even though it clearly says if you are over 25+ and have a return flight you can. Rented many times with Avis with debit Mastercard and never an issue.

That's not a helpful answer Linda. If you read my message i clearly stated i have rented before at other offices with debit Mastercard and never an issue. But this office lied to me. Probably were overbooked and used it against me or anyone who had a debit card. I should sue Avis. Because i flew in from another country they ruined my trip.

Never had a problem with debit MasterCard or visa they put a 300.00 hold on your card until the return..
