It never hurts to ask. The staff there was nice it was other things that were a problem for us. Let them know the situation and remind them that a good recommendation by word of mouth is worth a million you have to pay for.
I agree with Jay. You can return the vehicle but you will not get a refund. It is stated on the receipt and rental paperwork.
Some companies are known for their stellar customer service. This company is known for their customer service too...just not good customer service. By far one of the worst customer experiences in my life. Good luck!
