They never answer the local number and the national Payless will tell you they have nothing to do with this chain. Bottom line is don't use Payless in San Diego. Their counter people are trained to scam you apparently.
There is a local number on the white sheet with cost breakdown. I never got a live person either. If your still in town drop by. Should be a 200 or 250 deposit.
