I received great service at the counter and bought the additional insurance. Someone else rubbed the car there were no questions asked when I returned the car. I had a great experience with Payless. With the bad reviews there are also good ones. As the other person mentioned they are as good as the other car rental companies.
They're about the same as everyone else, I had no problem although the car I rented has power locks or windows but for $75 for 4 days I didn't care. Return process was simple and quick.
My experience is they are that bad I was overcharged nearly $300 and it took over 4 days of my vacation to get the money back. Even though I pointed out the responsible charge before I even signed. They never answered the phone so if you have an issue you might as well forget it. And the national Payless will not support you.
