I had my dog with me at sunset cliffs and la Jolla. No dog restrictions but keep your dog far away from the seals.
Dogs ok on leashes. Beach access is very limted do to cliffs. And they have outhouses. Not the best but at least they have them. If want to see seals you need to go to la Jolla area beach or scripps and dont think they allow dogs on beach there. Ocean beach has a great area for dogs on the beach and they can run wild there. Play in water and have full access. Have fun!
Dogs on leashes were there. There are port-o-pottys to use and they were not in bad shape if you know what I mean. I'll be there again next week so will try and post more details with the questions in mind.
