This is our "go to" park for walking our dogs. It is well lit, with lots of trash cans. We don't mind the sporting events that go on at the college because there is always lots of parking, and it feels like a safe area.

Don't bring your kids on the playground, It is not safe. The structure is poorly designed, old and rusty, the bridge is so slippery, even for an adult is it hard to cross. Idk if they are going to renovate it.

We've been coming to this park for over 5 years. Maintenance of the playground is deteriorating. Lost the monkey bars a few years back. Now one of the slides is gone, replaced with a chain and plywood.

Many of the flatter surfaces are designated patches of grass, outfields for ball sports, and one facility's byways, or playground bark supporting bulkhead signs showing visuals of exercise movement sequences.

You can take adult swim classes through Miramar college at that Pool
Don't know! But it's always good to ask!
I am not sure. However, I believe that they may be on a timer for the weekend as well.
Dogs are allowed in San Diego city parks so long as they are on a leash. They are not allowed on rhe playing fields. Dog owners are supposed to pick up after their dogs. It is unfortunate that some dog owners chose not to be good neighbors and park patrons resulting in less than pleasant park experiences. As for the sign no dog sign, it could have been either a no off-leash dog sign, or a no dog on playing field sign.
