It's a bit of a walk to the water from the parking lot, an overpass over train tracks etc. If you have a cart or are comfortable carrying your kayak a ways it's good for kayaking.

Rules, rules.. how about a rule that says when its light enough to see the sky to open your gates!? I simply want to use the park to exercise/ walk the stairs, its 5:00am Sunday, in July, daylight and the gates are locked.. What gives??
