Had a great time walking on the beach at low tide. Blue Heron flew by across the water, shells and sting ray on the shore. Kids had fun playing on the logs and forts people had made. Good parking and restrooms and playground up above.

Beautiful views and multiple parking lots. There is one covered place for gatherings on the beach. The beach is quite narrow, though, and not very long in either direction for walking.

Nice little beach park, with BBQ spots, play structure and plenty of parking. Limited bathroom space so if it’s busy you might have to wait in line. Trains go by on schedule and are a bit noisy but it’s fun to watch them roll by. Gates close when it goes sun down, so be careful and don’t stay too late otherwise you’ll have to call 911 to get your car out

Short paved walk along the shore with resident bald eagle nesting above and discover pass parking, although lately the gate has just been open. Too much private landowners to truly enjoy the place they cut off all the shore walking. Too bad rich people think others shouldn't enjoy the beach too.

Parks are open dawn to dusk. 5 am is pre-dawn. Go back to sleep.
Indeed ... so long as you understand that you are sharing the water with marine mammals now and then ...and that you will go numb and have thermal shock or hypothermia within 30 minutes unless you have a wetsuit or such ...
I doubt that it's technically allowed to use a camp stove on that beach, if they forbid fires on it in general. Your fire sounds potentially more difficult for them to spot, however. If you want to be legit, I'd suggest checking the Shoreline park system's overall regulations.
The lowest level parking at the bottom of the park is about a 2-5 minute walk to the shore. It is the closest but has no water views. The upper level parking are further away from the beach but have stunning views of Puget Sound.
One of the posted signs in the park talks about the reflectors, their history and purpose. I can't remember enough of what I read to comment. I'd only want to post facts. I know that makes me a rare gem. Publishing only that which is known, confirmed..and truth. ...something our news media could learn to do again. But nobody cares.
It varies based on time of year but always at sunset.
There are two shelters, one on the beach and one next to the playground above the lower parking lot. Both can be reserved.
I didn't see any signage saying you can't fish or anything like that.
There is a walkway and it is not too long of a walk
It's a bit of a walk to the water from the parking lot, an overpass over train tracks etc. If you have a cart or are comfortable carrying your kayak a ways it's good for kayaking.
This park has one designated fire pit NEAR the water. It does require reservations in the summer from the city of Shoreline .
188 stairs total. It's a great location to do a walk/run circuit.
November 1st to March 15th, dogs allowed to be off leash, in designated areas... March 16th - October 31st, Dogs must be on leash, in all areas.
