I doubt that it's technically allowed to use a camp stove on that beach, if they forbid fires on it in general. Your fire sounds potentially more difficult for them to spot, however. If you want to be legit, I'd suggest checking the Shoreline park system's overall regulations.
I read that it has one open pit that needs to be reserved, but our plan is to take the Coleman, which is not open pit... Thanks for the response.
