The lake is stocked with largemouth bass, flathead catfish, walleye, and smallmouth bass, sunfish, channel catfish, bluegill, and rainbow trout. Carp, tiger muskie, and alligator gar can also be found in the lake.

The state stocks the lake with Tiger Muskie. They are catch and release only at this time. BEAUTIFUL AREA! Long drive to store, a lot of barren land before you get there. Beauty, peace, and quite, and incredibly dark skies for star gazing.
