This park has always been a gem in the area, but it gets better and better each year. And it has a Friends of Medicine Lodge group that helps with the Park's education, outreach, and cultural programs.

I want to give 5 stars because this is a beautiful gem of a campground and historical site, but there was no place to dump wastewater. We were told the nearest place to dump wastewater is a town about 30 miles away. Strange! Still, we enjoyed our time in this quiet oasis.

What a fantastic gem to find in the middle of nowhere! If you're on the road, stop here for a picnic and walk about. Couldn't have been more grateful to find such a well maintained oasis.
