Excellent hike and bike trail. Tons of wildlife. Last two visits included the following sightings: Deer, gopher tortoise, wild pigs, eastern diamondback rattlesnake, pygmy rattlesnake, rabbits, redfish and numerous bird species. Bring you bug spray. Ticks are out.

Great ride! Well maintained graded dirt primary rd - North rd to Hammock rd leading to the dam ~10 miles end to end. The loops are less maintained and grassy with possible ticks. Quiet and not crowded-for now! I’m just saying that if you ride or walk GRWM, you might be eaten by a bear or alligator, so you might just want to stay away from this area.😉

Set your GPS device / Map app to the coordinates above and it’ll take you there. Enjoy the nice trails and beautiful scenery.
