If you want a secluded easy access beach to search for shells and fossils, Guana State Park Beach is it! Just north of St Augustine FL. What a beautful florida east coast beach. Millions of shells and some fossils as well. Parking is across the street but it does have ramps for all to access.

DO NOT HIKE WITH YOUR DOG ON THE TRAILS UNLESS YOU WANT THEM COVERED IN TICKS. We just got home and found 10 ticks on our Samoyed. We stayed on the main path had it was a cold 45 degree day, but he is covered in ticks. Pretty trails and intercostal views, but not for dogs. For those who can’t find the trailhead- the address is 2690 S Ponte Vedra Blvd Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082

Unfortunately, this road leads you to a private property / no trespassing sign before you can even get to the state forest. I’m not sure how people are getting there but we couldn’t figure it out.

- No parking available. - Driveway is horrible. If your tires are old, please avoid. Your car will be on roller coaster with infinite ups and down or breakers. - Good for only bicyclists.
