Hiking & Mt. Biking only

Still unclear if these roads within the park are open to vehicles for exploring. I have difficulty hiking and enjoy getting into the backcountry. I would like to know if I can access Florida’s natural settings from behind the wheel?

Gates are kept locked. To prevent cars & trucks from entering. Locks are removed during dates that allow hunting. These areas are meant to be kept pristine if possible, if gates were open to the general public, the areas would become every Tom, Dick & Harry's dumping grounds.

Is primitive camping allowed? And if so would they be fine with me chopping any dead trees on the ground for splitting into smaller logs.
