Kayak fishing here is top notch for inshore species! Specks, reds, etc….but don’t stringer your fish off the side in the water…there be quite the gator in there!

The beach is on the other side. This has river access but there not really a beach on the river. There is beach parking both before and after. You will clearly see places where people can cross the street and that is the beach access points.
As of 4/16/19, the ramp at Six Mile Landing was open for any watercraft with less than 10 hp engines, including kayaks, canoes and paddleboards.
