Been here 7 years now. It's been home from day 1 to me

I lived there for 8 years and have recently moved out. I grew up in the complex with many other kids who’s parent/s have struggled financially. I have to say the apartments were infested with cockroaches and almost always smelled. Most days I would come home to see the plumbing backed up into the breezeway. Also out of the 8 years our dishwasher was broken for at least 6 of them. Maintenance took it away and never fixed it. Also my brothers bikes got taken and the bike locks were cut because “it was a safety hazard“ to keep them locked up at the fence. That’s not even including the multitude of packages that got “lost”, or the fact that MULTIPLE police cars were there every other day. My only positive memory of the apartments was the church programs that gave us presents and food over the holidays. I do hope these apartments change for the better.

Called to get on the waiting list & Ms. Herd was a delight to speak with! She was so nice. Not sure why everyone keeps saying the office never answers… she answered me on the 3rd ring lol. Can’t wait to move into a 2 bedroom when it’s ready!!
