I just completed my deck and it looks great! Louis did a great job in helping us pick out the materials as well as the correct amount of materials for our new Trex deck. He spend a lot of time explaining the different options from Trex and we were happy that we stayed within our budget. It looks awesome and the deck will be enjoyed for years to come. We couldn't be happier with the customer service provided by Louis and the prompt delivery SPL provided!

I spent about a week researching pressure treated lumber stainless steel and decking before landing at Southern Pines lumber on US one down between Bayard and Saint Augustine I happen to run into Lewis and his gentleman in the yard and was met with excellent customer service and a true willingness to answer questions, callOther warehouses to check on composite decking for me and availability. There’s no one that’s been around construction over 50 years that is happy with the price of lumber in today’s market. Not only the price of materials, but the availability. It’s just an incredible chain of events that got us to this point. All that being said it was a bright spot in my project to come across Lewis Long at Southern Pines lumber My suggestion go see him in person and be prepared for complete customer satisfaction. We do stock material treated specifically for building a dock or a deck. We stock the highest grade of 2x6, Dense Select Structural and it is treated for ground contact. We also have a #1 and #2 grade 2x8 treated for use over salt water.
We do not stock that material however depending on the quantity and availability from our supplier we may be able to make you an offering. Please call the manager of the Ponte Vedra branch, Louis Long with your request and he will try and help you. 904-461-1100.
