I heard the tent sites are first come, first serve. How early should I get there if I want a tent site on Labor Day weekend?

We rolled in after dark on Friday night and there were plenty of open sites. It was not a holoday weekend though...

Been there twice never very many people but labor day weekend may have alot of RVs but the West canyon is cool
