Im in town with the fair and we`re trying to go fishing. Is that a good spot?

Luverne has a man-made lake in town called "The Lake" for fishing and swimming.

There is a falls area in the park but I'm not sure fishing is allowed

The main lake in the park dried up but there is an upper area by the campground. Only caught 1 bass within a hour. I'd look for other lakes in the area.
