Not much to this recreational area. Decent trails and camping. The lake is beautiful

Beautifully wooded area with many pines between picnic shelter and boat launch. Close to Mississippi headwaters, with interesting historical markers on how huge piles of logs were gathering there in the winter and sent down the creek to lumber mills with the spring flooding. Very clean bathrooms at the Campground.

The lake is very interesting 213 feet deep and nice looking too. We landed and released a 23" Northern that put up a good fight and a few decent sunfish also. If you're camping here I'd recommend staying in one of the cabins for a more natural state park experience. The camping isn't much to write home about in my opinion. The cost of $41.00 per site includes water and electric but isn't worth it, especially if using a tent. The campground does include trails, a picnic area canoe launch area, and a building with laundry and multiple private bathroom/showers and that was nice.

We had both a campsite and a cabin. The campsite was spacious and well-enough away from the next area, I felt it was good for either a tent or an RV. The campsite had WiFi! The driving paths were well-kept and level. The bathroom building was awesome! There's a table with coloring books for the kids and about 10 little bathrooms down a hallway with a toilet, sink, and shower. A lot of privacy and very clean! The rest of our party stayed in the Lone Wolf cabin and it was cool all day, had 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, and a nice deck with 4 basic lawn chairs. It included WiFi and satellite TV! 4 chairs with a table and dishes but no real pots/pans and no dish towels, but some utensils for cooking and eating. Fridge, stove, and a propane grill and picnic table. The walking paths were well-kept down to a huge dock and swimming or fishing area. We also hiked up to the overlook where the Mississippi River meets with another one. There were 3 trails to get up there and one path (A) was very overgrown and seemingly forgotten. Once we got through that part, it was all very very nice and I will definitely be back again!

I don't remember, but I think they're very reasonable for full hook ups. Check the state park website for rates.

We would like a map of the RV sights and how they are laid out. Can’t find it on website

Very long back in sites, full hook up (sewer/water, 20/30/50, Wi-Fi) wash house is all individual, ADA compliant 3/4 baths. There is a small trail to the boat landing, beach, and park. Biggest attraction is it's a RV ready place fifteen minutes from Itasca and it's closer to Bemidji then Itasca.
