Check the ads in paper ,Craig's list, and pet rescues. I did get my kitten 3 months. Ago from the rescue in Tahoe.. There should be many to choose from with the weather getting better.
They always have a bunch of cats. Kittens im not sure of but you can always leave them a contact number and they will let you know when some come in. I would recommend a young cat that already has been litter box trained. Makes life easier.
