The accommodation was not clean and the room was not ready to check in at 5 pm. The toilet a total mess, the AC super loud. Also they completely forgot toilet paper. Breakfast was disappointing at best!

JB traveling nurse from Ohio. It was alarming to see a decent hotels rate 200+ a night. And my agency placed me in the most tackiest place unfortunately. I called Sonesta here in Reno and the lady assisted me wholeheartedly. It was a true blessing. Comfort, safety, and sleep is important for a nurse. And the rate was more of a blessing. Thank you 😊

The place is a mess. Here is the sequence of events starting at check-in. 1. Two women at front desk arguing in front of us about how to check someone in. 2. Given room keys. Walked to the room. Keys don’t work. Walked back. People in office say “oh yea” if the key has a bumpy back they don’t work.” So why give us this type of key. 3. Setting up room discovered no dishes and silverware. Walked back to the office. They say to look in the dishwasher. 4. Walk back to the room to discover the dishes are in the dishwasher and filthy. 5. Walk back to the office to let them know and the manager complains they are short staff and the maids are busy. Too busy to do their job? There were 5-6 people at our behind the checkin counter. Only 2 working. 6. Hotel advertises pet welcome kit. There is none. It’s clear this hotel has not been kept maintained for a very long time. This isn’t a lack of staffing due to Covid. This is the manager/owner milking the place for cash because it certainly isn’t going into up keep and repair. Overall conditions - the place isn’t quite a dump but isn’t far from it. 1. Entry door to building is filthy. Key reading device is barely hanging on the wall. 2. Carpets are dirty. Interior hallway walls are dirty. 3. Room is tired. Internet service is barely usable. Refrigerator has dent marks everywhere. Couch is as hard as a brick. Closet door is off the hinge. Can’t be used without me repairing it personally. 4. Outside grass hasn’t been cut in a while. 5. Kitchen wasn’t equipped correctly. Missing plates, missing glasses, etc. We are booked here for a month due to relocation. After one day we will look for another hotel.

Ryan and his staff are laser focused on customer care, not plain old customer service. I cannot begin to thank them enough for helping me when I was in a devastating family emergency to rescue my daughter from a violent domestic situation. The rooms were exceptionally clean. The breakfast was healthy and delicious. Pet friendly. Thank you all!
