There are despersed campsites in the Mt Hood National forest. Or any number of pay camp sites, usually reserved earlier in the year over the internet. Despersed sites are those without bathroom facilities and you dont pay. You can google them. Hope this helps.
There are plenty of options when it comes to campgrounds and other areas to find your space, but not really seclusion if that's what he's looking for.
Does he want to stay in a campground. Because if he does than there might be one close to you. If he doesn't than probably not :(
