This has been a great camp site. I'm used to The state parks and they are always super crowded with tiny spots. This place has huge camp sites that are able to take 3 to 4 tents easily. There's no water hook ups or power which is not the end of the world because there's less giant rvs camping here.

Great campground it would be better with at least water and electricity to each site. The views are great, the outdoor experience is wonderful and we even caught some fish!

Huge and very private camp sites despite being in a popular area. Also has cellphone service and super clean vault toilets. The whole area of mt hood is very buggy with beetles and ants, so just be prepared.

This is such a well designed, well equipped, well maintained, and enjoyable national park. The scenic views of the Mt Hood and the lake are world-class. Seriously. Photographers, this is a must shoot. Drones, as well. Being out of city light pullution, the night sky view is unparalleled. You can easily capture Milky Way star shots in minutes with a tripod. There is kayak/paddleboard rental 7 days week. Stocked for fishing. Paid camping spots roomy enough for RV+vehicles+tent, with benches and fire pits. Day use, for general public. Parking available. Easy Trails that encircle the lake. Easy skill level, for entire family including dogs. I can't say enough good about this spot. It's another perfect gem here in the PNW.

No..
Yes
Yes you can the sites are big enough and you will still have room
recreation.gov .. plan ahead (by 6months) or check back often for cancelations
Not at the moment, total fire ban (except gas flames with a shutoff)
Not when we were there two weeks ago
Multiple tents can be set up in most sites. I just got back from camping there and we had space for two tents. It is $31 a night, or $62 a night for a double site. Double sites are good for large groups and are basically just two merged normal sized sites.
