If you call down and ask for the animal hospital and speak to the person in the back I believe her name is Cheryl she sets up the community where she goes and catches those cats and if it's overpopulated she fixes them and returns him to less populated areas

No, you do not to have an appointment to surrender an animal, but their hours are different than the visiting shelter (8=4 I think), so you may want to call to give them a head's up that you are coming. You will have to answer some questions, so I would give yourself at least a good hour to wait/process. I have had to surrender some kittens, and I just adopted a dog (8 yr old) from them a week ago. Do not offer a "free dog" in classifieds, as people get dogs to use as bait animals for dog fighting. Honestly Tasheena if you can get any pets from here I'd be very careful one time I did get a dog that was supposed to meld with my other two dogs and it actually bit one of my littler dogs and then it turned out to have a skin rash which one of my little dogs obviously still has it with some kind of fungus I don't have money I'm actually unemployed and my dog is now going to be going on 8 years old and it flares up when it's really hot in the summer in when I'm in Florida anyways so I've got it pretty much under control by giving them aloe with their food but I just want to make aware and to be wary...because they can only tell you what the people tell them and in this case I should have known by the paws that the that the dog I got was not a Chihuahua or a smaller breed mix was actually a baby lab and when I put down food for all 3 of them he would overrun them in that's what happened so just go in with your eyes wide open. Yes! Unless you intend to buy a collar and leash from HSTB, you should bring one. Although they do usually sell the whole range of sizes for collars and leashes for very low prices. It may be difficult to know which size collar is appropriate prior to meeting the dog you intend to take home.

The types of animals they have changes every day. Go in or check the website for information on the available animals. Typically, however, you will have trouble finding the exact age or breed you want through a shelter adoption. Have an open mind and take a look at what is available; they all need loving homes. Otherwise, check local poodle rescue groups which typically only have that breed.
