I've never heard of donating furniture,but I do know they take donations with regards to food, toys for play and exercise, cleaning supplies, both financial and actual supplies.

I do believe I have seen animal shelters holding garage sales as a fund raiser. I can't remember if this was in Fl. Or Co.
